Are you an experienced leader ready to take on a new challenge in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're looking for a proactive and driven Engineering Team Leader to join our team at our Bellshill Blow Moulding site. If you're passionate about engineering excellence and team development, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
Manage contractor and maintenance supplier performance through regular reviews.
Mentor Eden apprentices and support the site's Maintenance Excellence roadmap.
Ensure adherence to planned maintenance schedules through effective resource planning.
Analyse CMMS data to identify opportunities for equipment improvement and forward planning.
Drive cost-effective maintenance strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities (RCA/5 Whys).
Support and promote the site's 5S programme and maintenance improvement techniques.
Champion Reliability Centred Maintenance and FMECA activities.
Collaborate with machinery and component suppliers to drive standardisation and cost efficiency.
Leadership Expectations:
Manage team performance, development, and employee relations.
Align team efforts with OGSM goals and company values.
Foster collaboration across departments to drive business improvements.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

What We're Looking For:
Strong engineering background with hands-on experience in manufacturing.
Proven leadership in high-pressure, complex production environments.
Familiarity with process equipment and P&ID systems.
Experience managing on-site teams with a clear and approachable communication style.
