Job Description
We have two roles opening across our BBC account, focussed on delivering best-in-class social content to support live programming for BBC Radio 1.
You will work to maximise social video output and engagement for the biggest shows on Radio 1, capturing social-only formats with presenter and guest talent as well as creating engaging videos from in-studio footage. You will collaborate with BBC Radio 1’s in-house visualisation team to film priority talent or show moments, such as key network announcements or interviews.
You will also develop new repeatable content formats in collaboration with presenters, capturing these with the support of the wider BBC Radio 1 social team, as well as create weekly BAU social content to raise the profile of the show.
These are client facing positions, partly based at BBC’s New Broadcasting House, and will require engaging with multiple stakeholders on a daily basis.
You will report directly to our Lead Producer, as part of the wider BBC Cold Glass team, while working closely with in-house social and radio production teams at the BBC.
The ideal Producer will be creative and ambitious, ready to bring energy and new ideas to a founding account of Cold Glass. You must have demonstrable experience of working directly with high profile talent and creating social and digital content for youth audiences, enjoy working as part of a team, and have a deep understanding of and passion for social media and entertainment.
The roles will regularly involve working week patterns that include early mornings and/or evenings.

- Writing standout copy and ensuring creative content is optimised for each social platform
Experience:
- High level of attention to detail, organisation and time management is essential
- Demonstrable understanding of the social media landscape and pop culture, particularly for U25 audience
- Good knowledge of Premiere Pro and Photoshop is essential
- Experience with shooting video and photography (either with iPhones or DSLRs)
