SHE Manager
Location: North West (with occasional travel across the UK)
Salary: £70,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Private Medical (DOE)
Shirley Parsons is exclusively partnered with a multi-disciplined engineering client seeking a SHE Manager to lead and shape their Safety, Health and Environmental strategy across all business units. This is a standalone leadership role, reporting directly to the Managing Director, and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on culture, compliance, and operational safety as they continue to grow.

What You’ll Do
* Act as the company’s lead SHE authority, setting strategic direction and driving continuous improvement.
* Develop and maintain SHE systems, policies, and procedures across all operations.
* Conduct audits, inspections, and training to ensure compliance and best practice.
* Engage with the workforce to promote safe behaviours and a positive safety culture.
* Manage all SHE documentation and reporting requirements.
* Support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
What you will need:
* Essential: NEBOSH or equivalent qualification; strong SHE experience in engineering, construction, or similar industries.
* Preferred: Degree/diploma in a relevant field, IOSH membership (CertIOSH), Lead Auditor qualifications.
* A balanced skill set—confident engaging with people and meticulous with documentation.
Working Pattern
* Primarily office-based with regular site visits across the North West.
* Occasional travel outside the region (e.g., major project sites).
* Hands-on operational role
