Work in collaboration with colleagues to plan purposeful play in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), children’s interests, practitioner and parents’ observations. Liaise with parents on a daily basis, in the best interests of their child. Set out play and creative activities in an attractive and appealing manner, including imaginative play areas. Provide varied story time and music sessions relevant to each age group. Have regard for safeguarding, health and safety at all times, following the nursery policy and procedures and current legislation. Be hard working and committed to helping each child reach their full potential. Evaluate all nursery activities on a regular basis and use any information observed accordingly, informing others if necessary. Be interested in continuous professional development to further own knowledge and development and that of the setting. The training you will be getting Training to be provided: In-house training, plus the candidate will follow a Level 3 Apprenticeship programme and study towards an Early Years Practitioner Educator Level 3 qualification. This training will be structured and delivered by Cheshire College – South & West. You will also gain a qualification in paediatric first aid.
