Main duties of the job
The Senior Care Assistant role involves providing compassionate care and support to the residents of Miranda House. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, monitoring residents' well-being, and ensuring a high standard of care. Additionally, you will take on a leadership role, mentoring and supporting junior care staff in their professional development. Person Specification
Qualifications
* Applicants should have previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or equivalent, with a good understanding of care planning, risk assessment, and medication administration. A relevant care qualification, such as an NVQ or diploma in Health and Social Care, is desirable. Strong communication skills, a compassionate nature, and a commitment to continuous professional development are essential.
