Our Child Sexual Exploitation and Missing From Home Service works with young people who are experiencing or at risk of child sexual exploitation (CSE). CSE is recognized in the UK and defined as: "Child sexual exploitation (CSE) is a form of child sexual abuse. It occurs where an individual or group takes advantage of an imbalance of power to coerce, manipulate or deceive a child or young person."
Where you fit in
Our West Mercia Integrated Child Sexual Exploitation and Child Criminal Exploitation service works with young people at risk of CSE or Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE).
The role requires: direct specialist knowledge of risk factors leading to CSE, the ability to engage with vulnerable young people one-on-one within a case management model, familiarity with intervention tools and models, and the ability to work in an integrated manner with key stakeholders involved in the child exploitation agenda.
Main Duties & Accountabilities
* Develop and maintain productive relationships with referring agencies to ensure appropriate referrals.
* Manage caseloads, undertake assessments of young people's needs, and develop intervention and vulnerability plans within set timescales.
* Plan and deliver interventions following Catch22 policies, procedures, and local authority guidance to ensure effective resource use and target achievement.
* Create materials and deliver activities to promote resilience and safety among young people.
* Collaborate with Local Authorities and their Safeguarding Children’s Boards to establish strong multi-agency safeguarding partnerships.
* Record all interventions, contacts, and correspondence in line with service specifications in Management Information Systems.
* Complete monitoring reports to help track progress against outcomes, KPIs, and funder/stakeholder requirements.
Qualifications
You should have:
* Extensive experience working directly with young people with support needs levels 2-4.
* Experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating support activities for young people and their carers.
* Knowledge of case management, including assessments, action planning, and reviews.
* Understanding of Health and Safety and risk management procedures.
* Experience working in partnership with various agencies to achieve outcomes.
* Extensive understanding of Child Protection and Safeguarding processes.
* Ability to produce high-quality reports demonstrating work impact on young people on a 1:1 basis.

Salary: £26,000
