Job Description: Maintaining, servicing and repairing plant, machinery and equipment, responding to both emergency breakdowns and planned preventive maintenance Fault finding and diagnosing electrical and mechanical failures to minimise downtime Maintaining and modifying equipment to ensure it remains safe, reliable and efficient Measuring and monitoring the performance of mechanical and electrical components, devices and machines Installing, commissioning and testing machinery, plant and systems Undertaking test procedures and inspections in line with legislation and company standards Providing technical advice and support to colleagues and management Recommending and implementing modifications and improvements to production machinery Working to British (BS), European (EN) and other relevant engineering standards Ensuring full compliance with company health, safety and environmental policies Actively participating in quality, environmental and continuous improvement initiatives Liaising effectively with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders Carrying out any other reasonable duties as directed by the Head of Engineering or senior engineering management Beneficial Skills / Qualifications: Electrical and mechanical fault finding within an industrial or manufacturing environment Sensors
