We are Millennium Staffing, a healthcare staffing specialist. We are currently looking for experienced and dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistants for one of our key clients in the Coventry area.
Responsibilities
* Providing high-quality personal care and support to residents in line with their individual care plans.
* Administering medications in accordance with training, policies, and procedures.
* Monitoring, observing, and recording residents’ conditions, reporting any changes to nursing staff or management.
* Supporting and supervising Healthcare Assistants and junior staff members.
* Assisting residents with daily living activities, including mobility, nutrition, and personal hygiene.
* Responding promptly to residents’ needs and emergencies, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date care records and documentation.
* Liaising with healthcare professionals, residents, and family members where appropriate.
* Promoting dignity, independence, and person‑centred care at all times.
* Assisting in care planning and reviews.
* Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.
* Reporting to senior staff and highlighting any concerns or safeguarding issues.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Senior Healthcare Assistant or in a similar role.
* Medication administration training (essential).
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (preferred).
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A caring, compassionate, and professional approach.
