We are recruiting for a proactive and organised Environmental Health & Community Safety Support Officer to join our Environmental Health and Community Safety team. This is a key role with the principal function of supporting the food and safety function in the Environmental Health and Licensing team with flexibility to support a wider range of regulatory and community-focused functions,helping us deliver excellent customer service to residents, businesses and partner organisations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support primarily to the Food & Safety function and also assisting across the Public Health and Community Safety Service.
2. Respond to customer queries on food safety, licensing, environmental protection, community safety and housing renewal.
3. Process and monitor applications for grants, licences, permits and registrations, ensuring statutory deadlines are met.
