We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated individual who is dedicated to providing continuity of care for women and their families planning to birth at home. You will be part of a supportive and experienced team providing antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care. You will care for your own caseload, with a collective rostered team on-call commitment to cover the homebirth service 24/7. Main duties of the job To provide high quality, evidence based holistic midwifery care to women requesting homebirth or a caseload model of care. To provide continuity of care to women from booking, antenatal, intrapartum and beyond. The midwife will be required to work as part of a team and participate in the on-call rota to facilitate the women's desired place of birth. Supervises: Health care support workers, Student midwives, and junior qualified staff.
