Are you passionate about supporting older adults to live independently and with dignity in their own homes?
BallyCara is seeking compassionate and dedicated Qualified Aged Care Support Workers to join our team.
This rewarding role involves providing in-home support to seniors across Bribie Island, Caboolture, and Morayfield. We are looking for team members available through to 6:00 pm to meet our clients' needs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver personal care and assist with mobility and daily activities
* Support clients with light household tasks and meal prep
* Provide social support and encourage participation in wellness and community activities
* Communicate effectively with your Team Leader about client needs and care updates
* Assist with transportation to appointments and outings
* Travel between client homes in Bribie Island, Caboolture, and Morayfield (paid mileage)
Desired Skills and Experience
What We’re Looking For:
* Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Community Services
(Current nursing students with Aged Care placements are also encouraged to apply)
* Experience in Aged Care or Community Services
* Flexible availability Monday to Friday (7:00 am – 6:00 pm)
* Basic computer skills and attention to documentation
* Ability to work independently while staying connected with the team
* Warm, patient, and empathetic approach to ageing
* Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
* Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates
* Evidence of two COVID-19 vaccinations
