Overview
We are looking for a salaried GP to join our dynamic and friendly practice. Experience is preferred but we would consider a newly qualified GP for the right candidate. Mentorship is provided by a named GP Partner to facilitate a smooth transition into the team. Our clinical team consists of 6 Partners, 7 salaried GPs, a GP Trainee, 1 ANP, 5 Practice Nurses, a Frailty Practice Nurse and 3 HCAs. We are a traditional general practice with a strong ethos focused on excellent team working to achieve a manageable workload.
We are a busy training practice committed to delivering high quality care and actively involved with Armley Primary Care Network.
Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload and deliver a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all patients.
* Work between 6 and 8 sessions (working days to be discussed). The surgery is open 8:00 am – 6:30 pm with morning and afternoon surgeries and a mix of telephone and face-to-face appointments.
* Contribute to on-call duties, home visits, admin tasks and holiday cover for colleagues; currently on-call support is provided by a doctor in the a.m. and p.m. with a second doctor available.
* Maintain up-to-date practice with current evidence-based practice and CPD commitments.

Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks are required. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and will require an appropriate DBS disclosure. Applicants must have current UK professional registration. Indemnity is paid and 6 weeks’ annual leave (pro-rata). Salary is dependent on experience. Contract is permanent. Working pattern is full-time or part-time.
