Job Title: Security Engineer
Location: Leicester
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE + OTE
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Security Engineer with a strong background in intruder alarm and CCTV systems. This role covers both installation and servicing work across a range of domestic and commercial properties, including offices, factories, and homes.
The successful candidate will work with a variety of systems including Pyronix, Scantronic, Galaxy, Texecom, Hikvision, and Paxton, providing top-quality service and technical support to clients throughout the Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
* Install and maintain intruder alarms and CCTV systems across various property types
* Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance
* Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
* Work independently or collaboratively with other engineers
* Participate in a 1-in-3 week call-out rota
* Travel throughout the Midlands region
Experience:
* Proven experience with security system installation and servicing
* Solid understanding of intruder alarms and CCTV technologies
* Confident communicator with a proactive and problem-solving approach
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel and participate in out-of-hours support when required
