A respected engineering and environmental consultancy is seeking a Landscape Architect to help shape places across residential, commercial and infrastructure schemes. You’ll join a collaborative, design-led team known for pragmatic, sustainable solutions, working closely with planners, engineers and environmental specialists to take projects from feasibility through to delivery.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Produce landscape strategies, masterplans, planting plans and detailed hard/soft landscape designs.
2. Prepare LVIAs/TVIAs, viewpoints, photomontages and contributions to EIAs where required.
3. Lead packages for planning: design statements, graphics, and responses to consultees.
4. Coordinate with internal multi-disciplinary teams and external architects, planners and ecologists.
5. Attend client/stakeholder meetings and support public consultation materials.
6. Carry out site appraisals, surveys and inspections; input into specifications and tender information.
7. Maintain quality, CDM and sustainability standards across project stages.
Required Skills & Experience
8. Degree in Landscape Architecture (post-grad diploma/masters advantageous).
9. Chartered or working towards Chartership (P2C) with a strong portfolio across UK sectors.
10. Demonstrable experience in LVIA and planning submissions within UK planning policy.
11. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and GIS; 3D/BIM (e.g. Revit/SketchUp) desirable.
12. Strong visual communication, report writing and coordination skills.
13. Full UK driving licence.
