We are looking for a permanent Manager to manage our cafe, visitors attraction, summer campsite and to organise & oversee events here. We are seeking an experienced, fun, dedicated and enthusiastic Manager to work hands on within as well as overseeing all of the above.
In this role, you will be managing a small team of staff as well as working in a customer facing role to ensure things are running smoothly in all areas. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Your responsibilities will include managing the team, completing staff rotas, working front of house (so barista training is an advantage), managing customer orders, overseeing camping & organising and overseeing events. If you have previous experience and a passion for management, hospitality, working with people. The successful applicant must be energetic, good with people, have management experience, a love for localism & enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, if this sounds like you we would love to hear from you.

Duties
* Managing staff - including rotas.
* Setting up new systems to ensure high food and hygiene standards are maintained.
* Ordering stock & liaising with the central prep kitchen.
* Organising and coordinating a variety of events.
* Overseeing camping - including arrivals, departures for the 60 days we are open for camping.
* Assisting with extra catering needs for public and private events.
* Responsible for staff training needs of the team.
* Ensuring good customer experience for paying customers to the visitors attraction. As it is a small team the manager will also be responsible in assisting the team with:
* Greeting and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
* Ensuring all customer requests and requirements are met.
* Assisting in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
* Making barista coffees.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a management role in a hospitality environment is essential, including barista trained.
* Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
* Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food safety practices are advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting.
* A positive attitude and willingness to help both customers and team members alike.
