Warehouse Operative | Driver
Location: Bristol
We are a leading UK wholesaler with 30 branches across the UK and Ireland, and we are continuing to grow. We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative & Driver to join our busy and friendly team in Bristol.
This is a varied role combining warehouse duties and customer deliveries, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and delivering excellent customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering goods to customers using a company vehicle (up to 3.5 tonnes - standard driving licence is fine)
Planning delivery routes and communicating with customers regarding deliveries
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and roadworthy
Loading and unloading deliveries safely (some heavy lifting required)
Picking, packing and checking orders accurately
Receiving and storing stock deliveries
Maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
Following all health and safety procedures and using PPE providedAbout You
Full UK driving licence
Experience in a warehouse or delivery role
Good standard of education including Maths and English
Strong customer service and communication skills
Reliable, organised and a strong team playerA Forklift Truck Licence would be beneficial, but training can be provided.
The successful candidate will also take part in a rota-based out-of-hours standby service, including Bank Holidays. Call-outs are rare though.
