Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Security Officers with Gateman experience to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and assets. Your role will involve, conducting patrols, and enforcing security protocols.
Duties:
The role of the gateman is to man the gatehouse, open / close the barrier for material / plant access and restrict access through this area unless instructed otherwise from our client as access to the site is controlled via facial recognition turnstiles.You will be required to log vehicles and visitors onto site on a handheld devise.
The role of the security guard is to ensure all the main entrances gates are locked after the last person has left site, be alert at all times and every hour take a walk down the tarmac access road and around the tarmac compound.
* Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety of individuals and property
* Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action as needed
* Enforce access control procedures, verifying the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
* Conduct thorough inspections of bags, packages, and personal belongings to prevent theft or unauthorized items from entering the premises when requested
* Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary
* Write detailed incident reports documenting any security-related incidents or violations imediately post an incident.
* Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees and visitors with inquiries or concerns
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Excellent observation skills with attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of first aid procedures is preferred
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

You must be in possession of a valid Frontline SIA Licence SG/DS or CP and CCTV Public Space Surveillance licence Immediate start subject to assessment.
Nights / Days / Weekends Rolling shift pattern.
