Role: Senior ER Specialist
Contract: 6 Month FTC - Part-Time (4 days a week)
Location: Goole (East Riding of Yorkshire)
Salary: £46,800 FTE

Are you an experienced and dynamic Employee Relations Advisor or an experienced HR Business Partner who enjoys ER-based projects?
We are looking for a proactive Senior ER Specialist to support a well-established business on a 6-month FTC basis. Reporting to the HR Director, the ER Specialist will support managers and the wider HR team through various projects and a range of ER cases.
Due to the nature of the role, responsibilities and focus, the role needs to be site-based. There is flexibility around working hours and the possibility of the occasional day working from home.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide expert guidance and support across a range of ER cases, providing clear, consistent guidance
* Advise and coach managers on best practices for managing employee relations matters
* Support the resolution of complex employee issues and disputes
* Lead or support investigations and hearings
* Ensuring the people processes are robust, fair, and aligned with policy and employment law
* Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is up to date
* Assist with various HR tasks and projects across the wider HR team
Skills & Experience:
* Strong background in Employee Relations, with a proven track record in resolving complex ER issues in a fast-paced environment
* Confident to work independently while also supporting others
* Solid knowledge of UK employment law and best practices
* Highly organised and methodical approach
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
