Principal Objectives:
To ensure the replenishment of all stock requirements in a cost effective and timely manner. Ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained to allow for successful delivery of internal and external customer SLA’s.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Placing orders with suppliers and confirming delivery dates
2. Chasing overdue orders
3. Maintaining accurate internal databases with prices and correct supplier details
4. Liaising with couriers
5. Dealing with van stock inquiries from field staff/ engineers
6. Ensuring adequate stock levels across all stores
7. Working closing with the warehouse and engineers to ensure correct delivery of parts
8. Transacting Spare Sales
9. Other duties as required to support the Purchasing and Logistics team
Skills & Abilities Required (Essential):
10. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
11. Computer literate, word, excel and any database experience
12. Customer service experience
13. Time management
Skills & Abilities Required (Desirable):
14. Experience of working in a purchasing role
15. Negotiation skills
16. Works well under pressure
