Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Commercial and Residential Property Lawyer to join our growing property team. The role is full-time, based in Maidenhead offices, with remote work options and potential for relocation.
The ideal candidate will handle a range of commercial and residential property matters, or specialize solely in commercial property. We welcome confident, well-presented solicitors or experienced legal executives with excellent communication skills.
The right candidate will have:
* A professional qualification (solicitor, FILEX, or Licensed Conveyancer)
* At least 4 years of solid experience in commercial property
* Great people skills and enthusiasm for teamwork
* Good organizational, time management, and IT skills
* A keen eye for detail
* Confidence to adapt to change in a pressurized environment
* Excellent client care and communication skills
* A strong billing history
* A desire to contribute to the growth of the property department
Experience in bringing referral sources and an interest in marketing are advantageous but not essential. Candidates working primarily from home should be able to work independently without supervision.
The job:
Despite current market subdued levels, our property work continues to grow, with anticipated significant increases in conveyancing cases over the next 6-12 months. This role involves acting for property investors, commercial property work, and some residential property work.
Location:
Remote working, hybrid options, or based at one of our four branch offices in Salisbury, Andover, Amesbury, or Fordingbridge.
The team:
You will be part of a 27-strong property team, divided into four specialized groups: residential, commercial, property investors, and leasehold specialists.
The property investor team:
This rapidly growing niche involves working with investors and developers across England and Wales, handling both residential and commercial properties. Workload is expected to grow significantly in the coming years.
Salary:
Market rate, depending on qualifications and experience.
