Are you a detail-driven finance professional ready for your next challenge? We’re looking for a confident Assistant Management Accountant to join a dynamic and fast-paced finance team. This is a broad and hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to make a real impact.
Based in modern offices in Godalming, with the option to work from home after the initial onboarding, this position will involve working closely with the Finance Manager to support month-end processes, reporting, reconciliations, and forecasting for one of the group's key business units.
12-Month Fixed Term Contract – Starting mid-September 2025 to August 2026

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly management accounts for review
* Post prepayments, accruals and other key journals
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts
* Maintain and update weekly cashflow forecasts
* Assist with financial statements, controls and documentation
* Support external audit preparation and liaison
* Provide support across the wider finance team on ad hoc tasks
* Manage financial records for a dedicated business unit within the group
Experience and Skills Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of finance/accounting experience
* Strong Excel skills (including VLOOKUPs & Pivot Tables)
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Experience using Microsoft Business Central is a plus
* Familiarity with Jet Reports (Excel add-in) desirable
* Proactive, adaptable and confident working with deadlines
