DJ Maguire Dental Group are looking for a full time/part time Orthodontic Therapist (hours to be agreed) to work in our practice located at Catherine Street Dental Care, 38 Catherine Street, Limavady, BT49 9DB.

This is an exciting opportunity as we are expanding our orthodontic team to meet demand. We invite applicants to apply to join our current team of two specialist orthodontists, two qualified orthodontic therapists, dentist with special interest in ortho, across 3 specialist led orthodontic clinics in Northern Ireland (within DJ Maguire Dental Group of 12 family run practices).

*Job Description: *The successful candidate will have support, providing a range of treatments including NHS and private fixed appliances (3m flash-free pre-coated brackets), as well as removable appliances and aligner systems.

*Salary*: Competitive High Salary, to be discussed

*Hours of Work*: Negotiable, to be agreed

*Essential Criteria:*
* GDC registered orthodontic therapist
* Clinical experience, orthodontic knowledge, performing high quality orthodontic services, whilst assisting orthodontists in various procedures
* Excellent organisational and clinical skills, with the ability to plan and manage workloads
* Experience managing relationships with patients
* Excellent communication skills
* Positive and flexible approach to work
* Good practical skills together with good common sense
* Up to date CPD and CPR training
* Relevant Hep B vaccinations
* Good knowledge of health and safety rules and guidance including PPE, COSHH, infection control, waste disposal
* Confidence to represent DJ Maguire Dental Group and its values, developing and maintaining relationships at all levels within the organisation
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-professional team – to gain and maintain trust and respect from patients and to establish and maintain productive working relationships with all members of the team

*Desirable Criteria:*
* Computer literate with good IT skills and experience of dental software
* 1 year experience working in the role of orthodontic therapist.
