What You'll Be Doing
* Lead the strategic management of WYCA's non-transport assets, potentially growing to a £1 billion portfolio.
* Develop and deliver a Corporate Asset Management Strategy aligned with WYCA's regional goals.
* Manage acquisitions, disposals, and commercial partnerships to maximise value and impact.
* Oversee the corporate asset register and asset management system with robust governance and accurate data.
* Lead place-based asset strategies in collaboration with partner organisations.
* Drive income generation through lease management and capital receipts.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, legal, and financial regulations.
* Build and lead a high-performing team, promoting professionalism and innovation.
* Influence senior stakeholders across the organisation and externally to align asset decisions with strategic priorities.
Profile
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be a strategic, commercially minded leader with deep expertise in asset management, particularly across land and property portfolios. They should be a Chartered Surveyor (RICS) or hold an equivalent professional qualification, with extensive experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams within large, complex organisations.

* Salary Range: £74,862 - £86,090
* Hybrid Working: Typically 2 days per week in the Leeds city centre office, with flexibility for meetings and events.
