Shifts: 8am to 8pm / 1pm to 8pm / 8pm to 8am
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to individuals, particularly children, in their daily activities. This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in your care, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and professionalism.

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Building positive and trusting relationships with young people.
* Supporting them with daily routines such as cooking, appointments, school/college, and activities.
* Taking them out for activities
* Encouraging independence by helping them develop life skills (budgeting, cooking, self-care).
* Being a role model—promoting positive behaviour, respect, and resilience.
* Keeping accurate records and working closely with the team to ensure the best possible care.
* Creating weekly and monthly reports
* Providing mental health support where needed
* Attending any appointments with them
* Handling challenging situations calmly and with empathy, always keeping safeguarding at the centre of your work.

Skills
* Experience working with children is essential
* Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children and their families.
* Proficiency in IT to maintain records and communicate via digital platforms.
* Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Ability to use a CRM system
* Ability to work the shifts provided
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children as needed.
