Education Cubed is seeking a highly organised and proactive Projects Assistant to support the delivery of creative, video, research, and consultancy projects. This is an entry-level role, providing valuable experience in project coordination within the UK higher education sector and in a fast-paced agency environment. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across Creative Services, Insights, Finance, and Sales teams to ensure smooth project delivery and outstanding client outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assess and plan resource within the internal team and freelance database to establish timescales for delivery of projects and brief all relevant project team members.
* Create project timelines for Creative and Insights projects that are in line with creative team resource and meet client expectations.
* Ensure that the Delivery team has information required to log and analyse data of creative department capacity, tracking current and prospective projects and plan resource accordingly.
* Project manage smaller scale Creative, Video and Insight projects on a day-to-day basis – from project initiation, to managing resources and supplying final assets.
* Be the first point of contact both internally and for clients to ensure that all project stakeholders are aware of progress throughout each project and everything is delivered on time.
* Support Project Managers with medium and large scale creative, market research and video projects from the point of taking a brief to managing resources to supplying final assets.
* Delivering projects on time and to budget and escalating any issues to Project Managers.
* Share updates with Project Managers about live projects in order for them to be able to report project progress on a weekly basis.
* Maintain the finance booking systems and support with profitability aspects of all creative projects.
* Assist Project Managers with the creation of all Creative Services and Insight project proposals.
* Supporting in obtaining pricing from third party suppliers where relevant and creating timelines that are aligned with the client’s expectations.
* Assist with the creation and proofing of event marketing materials and delegate resources.
SKILLS
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable picking up new systems.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn.
* Very strong attention to detail and organisation.
* Interest in events, project management, and the higher education sector.
QUALIFICATIONS
Although this position is open to all, a degree or HND in the following subjects would be favoured.
