The Role: Customs Duty Analyst This is a pivotal support role within our delivery team, primarily focusing on data analysis, documentation management, and project coordination. You’ll work closely with our consultants to ensure accurate, timely and well-structured project execution. You'll be an essential part of our day-to-day operations, from handling datasets to maintaining client documentation and managing system updates. While this role is not on a consultant progression path, there is potential for it to evolve to include oversight of additional support staff as the team grows. Key Responsibilities: Reclaim Management – Collating client documentation, managing follow-ups, organising structured records, and performing data checks. CAT360 Support – Uploading and managing data, coordinating updates, and user acceptance testing. Project Administration – Setting up projects in our systems, managing internal documentation, and producing high-quality written outputs, including call notes and templates. Training and Onboarding – Assisting in new account setup and delivering client and internal user training (client and internal facing). Data Management – Maintaining PowerQuery files for imports/exports, tracking status through Excel-based tools. Bill of Discharge Support – Reviewing CDS data, following up on commercial documentation, and compiling structured submission packs. What We're Looking For: Essential Skills Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel (PowerQuery is a plus, but training can be provided). Strong written and verbal communication. Comfortable working with large datasets and structured documentation. Curious, proactive and keen to understand how our systems and processes work. A team player who takes pride in doing things properly. Self-starter with a proactive attitude. Desirable Skills Exposure to AI tools or automation technologies. Familiarity with international trade, customs or compliance work. This role would suit someone who Enjoys structured, behind-the-scenes work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Has studied a numerate or technical subject or gained equivalent skills to a high level.
