Who we are
We are a national driving school with approximately 400 driving instructors, covering many areas across the UK. We are based in Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes.
We consistently take over 500 bookings a week and during busy periods we exceed 1000 bookings a week.
On top of that, we have instructors wanting to join our company every week.
The company has coped well during COVID-19 and now is the time for us to kick on and try to gain new instructors in areas where we need a bigger presence. That’s where you come in!
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, bubbly, hard working and enjoys a challenge. The right candidate should have previous sales experience, but not necessarily within our industry. If you think you have excellent existing sales skills and believe they are transferrable, then carry on reading.
Requirements
* Must have at least 2 years of sales experience
* Must be a very positive, confident team player
* Brilliant communicator with warmth and humility
* Must be willing to assist in other areas of the business (sales related) when required
* You will take your own learning and development seriously and will have a naturally curious mindset
* Must be computer literate and have experience in basic software such as Word and Excel
* Must have good English writing skills
About the role
* Talking to new instructors interested in joining the company, making sure they are also the right fit for the company
* Talking to prospective trainee instructors who want to train with us to become a driving instructor and, more often than not, join us afterwards
* You will enjoy researching and finding quality driving instructors, talking to them and seeing if we can help them help the company by working with us
* You will spend 25-50% of your day helping with general bookings in the office and motivating fellow team members to hit their targets
* You will be expected to come up with and implement innovative improvements to enhance our existing general bookings process
* You will be required to lead by example and, once trained, demonstrate a high sales standards for other team members to follow
* You will be required to call old enquiries and leads coming through our communication channels and advertising.
Salary: This position has been filled
Someone with the minimum requirements and experience will start on the lower end of the salary. However, if they show quick and significant improvements, the salary will be increased quickly to reflect their skills and performance.
Working hours: 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Training
We don’t expect many applicants to be coming to us from a previous driving school with the relevant industry experience, so full training will be given. You will work closely with the director of the company and an existing senior manager.
