Project Engineer Position
A manufacturing company based near Crewe has a Project Engineer position due to business expansion. Working in a team of 3, your new role is to become a technical expert of taking a client's requirements and drawing them a solution fit for purpose, this will include drawing using AUTO CAD 2D, liaising with the sales engineers to source the correct products and taking the project through to implementation.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the procurement of materials on a competitive price basis
* Document, file and prepare O&M manuals
* Preparation of quotations within deadlines
* Feedback commercial trends and market requirements
* Support client queries, build rapport and establish customer loyalty
* Liaise at all levels; from customers, area sales managers, management team and suppliers
* Ensure all products are purchased in compliance with mandatory requirements
* Maintain company procedures and improve where possible
* Identify training needs to assist your career progression and departmental efficiency
Qualifications
* Mechanical engineering experience - Essential
* AutoCAD LT competency - Essential
