My client is an expanding Industrials M&A platform within a global boutique investment bank in London. The platform is growing due to excellent fee income and a terrific pipeline. UK and Europe remit, EV 100-500m and broad Industrials and Services coverage, Distribution, Industrial Tech and Infrastructure Services. They work on a high proportion of sell-side and ‘high probability success’ work. Key duties Key involvement in the origination and execution of M&A transactions across all subsectors Taking a lead role in the preparation of presentations for clients, investors and the broader investment community Playing an active role in the execution of mandates, taking increasing responsibilities on key workstreams and deliverables Commercially aware and able to act as client interface at senior level Excellent communication skills; mature, impactful and able to articulate complex issues Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications M&A experience accrued within a large investment bank, recognised boutique or Big 4 Industrials lead advisory team Sector experience across Industrials is preferred Thorough financial analysis experience gained at an investment bank, accounting or strategy consultancy Extensive experience in preparing presentation materials and advanced financial modelling skills Detailed knowledge of valuation techniques, due diligence, documentation, and in executing debt, equity and M&A transactions
