Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Deputy Depot Manager to join our team at Nu Style, Solihull. As a key team member, you will be responsible for assisting the Branch Manager to maximise the performance of the branch and to lead, inspire and develop the team to achieve our high levels of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the depot.
2. Help manage and develop a team, ensuring productivity and high performance.
3. Ensure inventory is accurately managed, stock levels are maintained, and deliveries are on time.
4. Support the Depot Manager in maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance.
5. Handle administrative tasks, including reporting and scheduling.
6. Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Skills and experience:

7. Previous experience in a logistics or operations role, preferably within a depot environment.
8. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
9. Ability to lead by example and work collaboratively with the team.
10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
11. Knowledge of inventory control, scheduling, and delivery processes.
12. A proactive approach with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Work Hours: This full-time role entails 40 hours per week, working Monday to Thursday from 8am to 5pm and Friday from 8am to 2.30pm. Providing a stable schedule with weekends free for your leisure.
