* To lead on theday-to-day operational management of the business functions of the school.
* To lead on allaspects compliance including implementation and maintenance of policies,insurance, risk management and business continuity.
* To lead on thedevelopment of excellent financial planning and monitoring to ensure the schoolachieves value for money and the environment is safe and conducive to effectivelearning.
* To work with the HeadTeacher and the Trustees as a member of the School Leadership Team (SLT) inorder to secure a strong financial position for the school.
* Contribute positivelyand take responsibility as part of the SLT for strategic decision making withinthe school.
* Be an active and supportivemember of the SLT and demonstrate the overall ethos and aims of the school.
* To deputise for theHead Teacher, when required.
* Be a presence atwhole school events.
* To have oversight ofthe support staff team.
* Take the lead on theFinance and Resources Trustee Committee (FAR).
* Lead key supportareas of the school including finance and accounting, HR, procurement,administration, premises management, catering and Health & Safety.
