Look after the UK’s top grocery customers for a business that knows meat inside out. Raw, cooked, added value… if it’s in the meat aisle, you’ll probably be selling it. The company? Let’s just say they’re not new to this. They supply the major retailers, operate at serious scale, and play a huge role in meat processing across the UK and Ireland. Their Welsh operations are critical to the group, and this role is right at the heart of it… This isn’t a role where you sit behind a laptop and send out pricing updates. You’ll be fully embedded with your customer, managing the relationship day-to-day, building joint business plans, owning the promotional calendar, and pushing for long-term growth. Work alongside the NPD team to help shape new products (raw and added value) and make sure everything’s ready to go ahead of launch. Specs, components, margins, timings… you’ll be across all of it. You’ll be supported by an experienced commercial team whilst also working closely with the planning, supply chain, technical, and ops teams to keep everything aligned across the board. Internally and externally, you’ll be the go-to. Retailers expect speed, accuracy and insight - this business delivers exactly that. So, you’ll need to be confident managing complexity and calm under pressure, with a clear head for forecasting, costings, and commercial decisions.
