Job Description
VANRATH is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work within the Building Maintenance department for a leading Construction Company in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The role involves leading all commercial, financial, and contractual aspects of multiple projects, ensuring profitability, legal and contractual compliance, and proactive management of commercial issues.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Financial Management: Manage budgets, forecasts, financial reports, cost control, and cash flow.
2. Contract Administration: Handle contracts, variations, and legal obligations.
3. Procurement and Tendering: Oversee tender process, bid evaluation, and subcontractor selection.
4. Cost Valuation and Reporting: Conduct valuations, manage payments, and prepare final accounts.
5. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial and contractual risks.
Candidate Profile
* Degree qualified or relevant qualifications
* Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor
* Proven track record in senior roles with high-value projects
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations
* Advanced contract law and health & safety knowledge
* Excellent commercial, negotiation, and communication skills
* Experience in Social Housing or maintenance projects preferred
* Good IT skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
