HR Systems and Data Administrator (6 Month FTC)

Your new company
Hays Recruitment is recruiting an HR Systems and Data Administrator to join a growing public sector organization based across the country on an initial 6-month FTC with the potential to go permanent. You will be part of the HR Transformation and Systems team and report to the HR Systems and Insights Manager.
Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting system use queries across HR platforms, ensuring timely resolution and response. You will troubleshoot and resolve system issues across all modules and HR platforms. Daily activities include system administration for HRIS and ATS, maintenance of reference tables, creation of new posts, working patterns, and access permissions. You will conduct data audits, update systems to ensure data quality, raise cases with suppliers, chase outstanding cases, and track lessons learned. Additionally, you will audit both systems to identify platform improvements and ensure HR processes are correctly followed.
What you’ll need to succeed
* Knowledge and experience of HR Systems Administration and working with People XD/Core HR/ATS systems such as iCIMS
* Knowledge of HR best practices and data governance methods
* Excellent attention to detail and data quality, with experience in maintaining data in HR systems
* Ability to manage workload, prioritize effectively, and escalate issues when needed
* Ability to handle confidential, sensitive matters professionally
* Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite
