Our client, a leading automotive service centre and tyre retailer with multiple locations across the UK, is seeking an experienced MOT Technician to join their busy team in Banbury. Benefits:
Competitive salary ranging from £36,000 to £38,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience
Uncapped monthly bonus scheme averaging over £3,600
42.5-hour working week, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm and one in two Saturdays 8:00am-4:00pm (with a day off in the week when working a Saturday)
32 days annual leave, including bank holidays, plus your birthday off

Conduct MOT tests on customer vehicles in accordance with Ministry standards
Diagnose mechanical issues and conduct service and repair work
Provide workshop support for various vehicle maintenance tasks
Assist with customer enquiries at reception when required
Ensure work is completed within specified timeframes while maintaining high quality standards
Maintain accurate records of work performed and vehicle details
Uphold safety standards and workshop policies at all times as an MOT TechnicianRequirements:
Proven experience as an MOT Technician, whether through employment or apprenticeship
Valid MOT licence and UK driving licence held for at least 6 months with minimal penalty points
Ability to produce high-quality work within tight deadlines
Friendly, approachable manner with good communication skills
Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Banbury
Mechanical aptitude complemented by customer service skills
