Job Overview
This role will lead the hypertension service within our Nephrology department and be responsible for developing the service, managing a cohort of haemodialysis patients, running a weekly nephrology clinic, and contributing to advanced kidney care activities.
Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the hypertension service within Nephrology.
* Manage a cohort of haemodialysis patients at Royal Stoke Hospital.
* Run a weekly general nephrology clinic.
* Supervise and train renal STs and trust grades.
* Contribute to the education of trainees, quality improvement, research activities and clinical governance of the service.
* Participate in the research programme led by Professor Simon Davies and Dr Mark Lambie.
Qualifications
* Full GMC registration.
* On or within six months of entry onto the Specialist Register at the time of interview.

* Two consultant posts available; all applications are considered for both unless specified otherwise.
