 
        
        Clinical Pharmacist - Oncology & Haematology
Following the Cancer and Aseptics element of our Job Description, you will join a committed, professional team in the delivery of excellent clinical pharmacy service. You will experience Oncology, Haematology, Clinical Trials and PN, and work with high cost drugs and quality risk management systems.
Responsibilities
 * Clinical verification of chemotherapy prescriptions.
 * Final check and release of products made under license and section 10 exemption.
 * Service development tasks such as training and change implementation in our expanding service.
 * Provide a clinical ward service on a rota basis.
 * Work closely with other pharmacists, medical/nursing staff and senior technicians/ward technicians.
 * Assist the lead or principal pharmacist in the management and delivery of the specialist pharmacy service.
 * Contribute to the strategic development and business plan of pharmacy services for the specialist area.
Qualifications
 * Registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
 * Experience in Oncology, Haematology, Clinical Trials or Aseptics preferred.
 * Experience with high cost drugs and quality risk management systems.
 * Ability to work flexible rota shifts and willingness to contribute to year‑long rotations if required.
 * Exceptional candidates who do not meet the full criteria may be considered for our Band 6‑7 STEP programme supported by a structured development plan.
