Role Overview

Otis is growing and is looking for a Trainee Engineer, to be based out of Portlethen, Aberdeen covering Aberdeenshire.
Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

As a Trainee Lift Engineer, you will be expected to;
1. Work alongside a qualified Lift Engineer
2. Study towards completing your NVQ Level 3
3. Help towards the service, maintenance and repair of lifts.
4. Get involved with planning of engineering works.
5. Work efficiently and in a safe manner in accordance with all Health and Safety guidelines.
6. Liaise directly with the customer whilst on site and build a good working relationship
Required Experience
7. Ideally to come with a technical background in electrical engineering.
8. Hold a N.V.Q/A-level or completed apprenticeship in an allied trade.
9. Overall team player, with a customer focused mindset.
10. An interest and passion in solving technical problems, to think outside the box.
11. Live within a commutable distance to Aberdeen.
12. Able to drive with access to your own vehicle.
