Job Title: Team Leader – Residential Children’s Home
Hours: Full-time

As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Registered Manager to lead and motivate a team of Residential Support Workers. You will be a role model, a mentor, and a source of strength for both staff and children. Provide leadership, supervision, and support to a team of care staff.
Foster a positive, child-centred culture where children feel safe, respected, and encouraged to thrive.
Ensure care plans are followed, reviewed, and adapted to meet the changing needs of each child.
Actively participate in placement planning, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies.
Support staff with their development through regular supervisions, training, and mentoring.
Lead shifts and manage the day-to-day running of the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.
A genuine passion for working with children and young people.
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential.
Supervisory or team leading experience – desirable but not essential if you have strong leadership potential.
