Maintenance Operative- Children’s Services

* Salary: £28,315 per annum

* Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

* Location: Fakenham, Norfolk

About the Role

We are looking for a versatile and reliable General Maintenance Operative to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, highly motivated, and passionate about making a positive difference in young people’s lives.

You will play a key role in maintaining and improving our services across Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive environment where no two days are the same, offering a variety of tasks, challenges, and opportunities to develop your skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out painting and decorating, including preparation and repair work
* Undertake minor plumbing tasks
* Repair fixtures, fittings, furniture, and equipment
* Complete basic glazing repairs
* Perform carpentry work, including hanging doors and fitting door frames
* Install plasterboard and carry out plastering work
* Change locks as required
* Lay flooring
* Assist with furniture moves
* Support fundraising builds and special projects

A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
