We have a rare opportunity for an Estates Maintenance Assistant for a prestigious organisation covering a large estate with a mix of stunning historical and modern buildings, all set in beautiful grounds.
Reporting to the Head of Estates, you will responsible for setting up facilities for meetings, conferences and events around the estate.
You will work in collaboration with the wider Estates team to prepare a list of visitors to site daily and provide courteous and friendly assistance and direction to all visitors arriving at the School.
As an Estates Assistant, you’ll be an integral part of the School and Estates team, providing crucial operational support across various areas. From porterage to gardens, sports facilities to staff housing, your role will be diverse and impactful.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Moving furniture and equipment around the school
2. Setting up and tidying up before and after school events
3. Handling internal and external mail distribution
4. Carrying out maintenance tasks
5. Reporting maintenance and safety issues
6. Working with the Estates team on compliance checks
The Estates Assistant will be a multi-skilled individual who ideally possesses a strong trade background with the ability to undertake manual handling tasks.
A full clean driving licence is also preferred. If you are a trustworthy and loyal team player who can deal with people in a polite and helpful manner, we would be delighted to hear from you.
