North View are seeking motivated and experienced nurses who would like to progress their career and specialise within Female Acute Inpatient Services. We have band 6 vacancies across both of our female wards Clover and Spring, to support our existing management team.

Clover x 2 permanent Band 6 Vacancies
Clover Ward and Spring Ward are based at our new state‑of‑the‑art adult mental health inpatient hospital, North View, which became fully operational on Monday 18 November 2024. The bespoke, purpose‑built development replaces Park House on the (NMGH) site and marks the beginning of a new chapter for the future of inpatient mental health care for people in Manchester.

Requirements
You must be a committed and competent RMN looking for a new challenge and development opportunities making a real difference with adults and carers in an acute setting.
You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage challenging situations on a busy, inpatient ward.

Responsibilities
The post holder will take charge of the shifts on a rotational basis, act as a primary nurse to service users and their carers, and be responsible for the establishment and maintenance of effective communication with all relevant personnel who contribute to the care of the service user both internal and external to the Trust.
The post holder will, in collaboration with the ward manager, ensure continuous clinical and professional development for ward staff through on‑the‑job coaching, mentoring, audit, regular supervision, and ward‑based training of less experienced staff.
The post holder will deputise for the ward manager as required and promote multi‑disciplinary team working whilst leading predominantly on nursing issues and leadership.
The post holder will be expected to act into the duty manager role occasionally in a supporting role to staff across the North View site.
