Secondary Philosophy Teacher – Barnet

We’re searching for a Philosophy Teacher to join a Barnet sixth form this September. You’ll guide students through the big questions of existence, ethics, knowledge, and truth—helping them develop sharp analytical and critical thinking skills.

Day-to-day you’ll:
* Teach A-Level Philosophy (and potentially related courses such as Ethics or RE)
* Deliver engaging lessons that balance theory, discussion, and critical analysis
* Support students in preparing for exams and higher education pathways

You’re a great fit if you:
* Hold QTS and have experience teaching Philosophy or RE at KS5
* Can bring abstract concepts to life through real-world connections
* Encourage respectful, thought-provoking debate in the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
