Vacancy Information
The salary advertised is for a full-time position (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours or sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly.
Hourly rate of pay: £14.09 - £15.14
This is a temporary position until 31st March 2026.
It is a 39-week sessional post, meaning working hours will be during school term time plus in-service days.
Days and hours of work:
Monday - Friday, 08:45-12:00
Start date: 11th August 2025.
Applicants must have experience working with children who have additional needs. The role may involve working with young people requiring personal care.

Job Requirements
Relevant Qualifications
A good standard of general education.
Experience working with or caring for children with additional support needs.
Nursery Only:
SSSC registration is mandatory. If appointed and not already registered, you must apply within 3 months of starting to ensure registration within 6 months.
PVG Membership
This role is considered regulated with vulnerable children and/or adults, as per the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020.
All preferred candidates for regulated roles will need to join or update their PVG Scheme membership before a formal offer is made.
Note: PVG records are regularly updated. Any relevant disclosures will be discussed and investigated before an offer is made.
