Job Title: Month End Finance Manager Contract Type: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract Function: Finance Location: Bristol or Gloucester - Hybrid-working Salary: From £47600 excellent benefits Closing Date: 3 April 2026 How you’ll make a difference The main remit of the Month-end team is to perform the role of 'Centre of Excellence' across product income and bank wide costs. The role will be responsible for all the key month end accounting processes ensuring the consistent treatment of income and costs across the bank, ensuring month end processes operate smoothly and meet all deadlines. The role will need to be able to handle large quantities of data and provide high quality output to tight timelines and be a key point of contact for stakeholders. Working closely with the wider Finance Team the role will need to be understand and explain key movements and variances. In addition, the role will be responsible for integrity and controls around month-end for both P&L and Balance Sheet. What you’ll bring Experience of supporting a team responsible for typical income and cost month-end accounting processes within Financial Services. Experience of some of the complexities of income and cost accounting (e.g. accounting for EIR, accounting for share scheme costs, accounting for IFRS16). Experience of managing month end related risks and how to operate a strong control environment. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail in order to manage data into clear output. Strong ownership and reliability to manage the production of outputs to tight timescales. Brilliant at communicating and building strong relationships with stakeholders across the Bank with a diverse range of knowledge and experience. Passionate about making a difference and delivering continuous improvement. Qualified accountant preferred: ACA / ACCA / CIMA but can consider part qualified with strong experience.
