Employer Engagement & Learner Support Officer
We are looking for a dedicated professional with experience in building strong relationships with local employers to secure meaningful placements for learners. The ideal candidate will be able to offer guidance and support to employers, ensuring a positive placement experience for both businesses and learners. Additionally, this role will involve contributing to the development and delivery of learner programmes, including recruitment, induction, and work experience support.
Essential Requirements:
1. A strong general education, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (A-C).
2. Experience in designing and delivering learning programmes for young people, ideally with a focus on employability.
3. Experience in conducting learner assessments, including literacy and numeracy evaluations.
4. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with young people, employers, and colleagues.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
7. Competency in managing both paper-based and electronic records.
8. A passion for supporting young people in their personal and professional development.
9. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and perform under pressure.
10. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. A recognised post-compulsory teaching qualification at Level 6 or equivalent (e.g., DTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed).
2. Assessor qualification.
Working hours:
Monday-Friday, term time only, 8:30 am-4:30 pm. This is a temporary role with potential for permanency.
