Primary School Teaching Assistant

Day-to-day of the role:
* Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
* Assist with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning.
* Prepare classroom materials and resources.
* Provide additional support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN), where required.
* Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor and report on pupil progress and behaviour.
* Supervise children during break times, trips, and activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience working with children is preferred but not essential.
* A patient, caring, and supportive attitude.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Basic literacy and numeracy qualifications (GCSEs or equivalent).
* Relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) is desirable.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
