Qualified Psychologist - 12 month FTC - Female PD

We need a Qualified Psychologist who's passionate about helping people with a range of complex mental health needs.
You will join our team at Cygnet Hospital Derby on a 36hr per week basis covering a 12 month FTC working on our Female Personality Disorder ward.
This post would also suit a Newly Qualified Psychologist however we also encourage applications from applicants due to qualify within 6 months.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about Trauma Informed Care.

Cygnet Hospital Derby provides low secure and mental health rehabilitation care based on the Recovery Model. Our integrated male care pathway includes Litchurch Ward, our low secure ward, and the Wyvern Unit, our mental health rehabilitation service. Alvaston Ward, our specialist female personality disorder service, is one of the leading services of its kind in the East and West Midlands.
Alvaston Ward:
Alvaston Ward is a 15 bed specialist low secure service for women with a primary diagnosis of emotionally unstable personality disorder and for those with a mental illness that may or may not be present with emotionally unstable personality disorder.
Your Day-to-Day...
* You'll be working 36 hours a week
* Work as a team Psychologist within a multidisciplinary team (MDT)
* Carry out psychological assessments & provide therapy to individuals & groups
* Collaboratively develop care plans with the MDT
* Provide training & supervision to colleagues, & consultation to teams
* Evaluate the service, contribute to its development & carry out clinical research
* Disseminate outcomes via conference presentations and publications.
We are looking for someone who is...
* A HCPC registered Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist with experience in a clinical forensic or mental health setting
* Preferably trained in at least one complex therapy for example Schema, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy, integrative psychotherapy, EMDR or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
* Passionate about working with people with a range of complex mental health needs
* Capable of treating difficulties such as self-harm, physical & verbal aggression, history of sexual offending and drug & alcohol problems.
