We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our team at Wabtec Rail Limited based in Burton on Trent we support our customers through maintenance and operation optimisation with customised solutions for spare parts, repair, and overhaul activities on existing trains.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30pm and Friday 08:00am to 13:00pm, 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
How will you make a difference?
Responsible for developing and managing production schedules to ensure the efficient overhaul of engines, transmissions, and Power Packs for passenger rail customers. This role involves coordinating with multiple departments to optimise workflow, ensure timely delivery, and maintain high-quality standards.
What will your typical day look like?
1. Develop and maintain detailed production schedules from receipt to delivery.
2. Coordinate activities across various departments, including Raft Strip, Engine Strip, Transmission Strip, Radiator Clean and Test, Paint, Final Test, etc.
