We are recruiting Support Workers to work in our new Supported Living Service in Hailsham shortly. As a Support Worker you will encourage and enable adults with a learning disability, providing practical and compassionate support in all areas of daily living. Experience in care is not necessary. You just need to have the right values and a passion for supporting people to achieve greater independence. Our Supported Living service in Hailsham will provide support to seven adults and is focused on achieving and maintaining their independence. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the development of this new scheme, alongside the development of people who will live here. Your role may include supporting people out in the community, working alongside people to maintain and learn new skills, supporting with activities and providing personal care. A full training program is available to support you in your role - including medication, health and safety, safeguarding and manual handling. The opportunity to undertake the Care Certificate is also available.
